Some of you may dismiss this as I work for a competitor, but I'm speaking in this video as Dave Jackson from the School of Podcasting. Here are some facts:
1. Anchor gives you one category for your feed. Almost all hosts give you three. More ways to categorize your show - more ways to be found
2. They block your access to Apple stats in podcastsconnect.apple.com as YOUR show is submitted under THEIR Apple ID
3. They block your access to Stitcher stats.
4 They convert your file to m4a, and change your file name.
5. Free is not a business model and many other companies have tried this and all have failed. Yes, Spotify is now the bank. What bank wants a business that bleeds money?
I could go on and on. The hassle you have to go through if you leave to transfer YOUR show to YOUR Apple ID...
