Chapters are an interesting (optional) feature you can add to your podcast allow your audience to skip to different parts of your show. For example, you can add a chapter that starts at the end of your intro so your regular listeners can skip your intro.
Note: Not all apps acknowledge chapter markers. They all act differently
I use Hindenburg Journalist software (www.hindenburg.com) which works on both the Mac or PC.
